The Design Director is a core member of the studio leadership team, helping us set the creative standard and point-of-view across partner and studio-initiated projects. The Design Director works in partnership with a Business Director, leading a creative team within the studio. This role is a hybrid of hands-on brand building with creative management and direction.

World-Class Design
Provide world-class creative solutions, systems and thought-leadership across all aspects of design to our partners.
Creative Partner
Think strategically about opportunities for our partners within and beyond existing scopes of work. Help them see potential for their business in places they aren’t currently looking.
Organic Growth
Work closely with our partners and business leads to define, propose and secure meaningful organic opportunities that extend and deepen existing relationships.
With Leadership Team
New Business
Work with the leadership team to find and convert on net-new business opportunities in-line with the strategic objectives of the studio.
Organizational Design
Work with the leadership team to design the structure of teams across the studio and projects to maximize creative potential, efficiency and resilience.
Design Excellence
Set the standard for design excellence across the studio and work to identify the design opportunity across a wide-range of projects.
World-Class Design

Providing day-to-day leadership with the design team, through critiques, conversations and hands-on design.

Work with creative directors to define a scalable and evolving design process that can be broadly applied across projects and taught to current and new designers.
Develop Design Tools
Work with creative directors to establish design tools to enhance, streamline or generally improve the design output of the studio.
Portfolio Development
Work with the leadership team to develop a portfolio of work that defines the studio and articulates PA’s unique approach to brand design.
Mentorship
Working directly with the design team to provide mentorship and guidance in their development as designers and leaders within Public Address.
