BlackBird
Challenge
Getting somewhere between 100-500 miles away is the worst. Too far to drive, not far enough to make going to the airport worth it. BlackBird, a SF-based start-up, created an on-demand platform to connect pilots and passengers on short, regional flights. The service is fast, easy, and safe — all things BlackBird needed a new identity to communicate.

Solution
Simple, intuitive, and memorable — the BlackBird identity reflects the flying experience. From logo, to layout, to illustration the identity, balances the easy, modern form of transportation with the romantic travel posters of the 60s and 70s.
Small, thoughtful design details help passengers feel confident that nothing is overlooked.
