Challenge

At Netflix, Halloween goes beyond spooky shows and movies—it celebrates the power of transformation. Iconic Netflix characters have inspired countless costumes, solidifying Netflix as a cultural force both on and off the screen.

Solution

The original Netflix and Chills identity, designed by Public Address in Fall 2018, was due for a refresh after six years. The new identity draws inspiration from the genre, while embracing the theme of transformation. We reimagined the familiar Netflix Sans typeface, giving it a playful, spooky makeover for Halloween. Designed to be versatile, the refreshed look ensures seamless application across a diverse range of content, costumes, and experiences that capture the spirit of the spooky season.
